Well done phys, although to be honest it sounds like E did most of the work. Plenty of time for more LRs.
My legs don't feel like E did all the work...
Did I tell you that E is now a great uncle? I was laughing at how old it made him sound, until I worked out that it made me a great aunt! Little Oscar is really cute.
14 hilly miles this morning, finished 5 mins before the rain arrived
Hola from Portugal. We arrived yesterday, it was grey and miserable, but today the sun has come out It's still a tad windy through!
I've done a 28 mile bike ride this morning and E has gone off climbing with his friend. Fortunately the group, who are all mountain bike cross country racers, are doing base training in the morning, I left them after lunch when they started doing intervals up hills. its he longest I've ridden in a long time and I'm quite pleased with how the running fitness transferred today.
Happy bike poncing.
Another 26 miles today, with more off road though, so my legs were definitely feeling it. As well as my saddle area!! It's was even more sunny today, but still a but windy.
Just 10 miles tempo here.
Rest day today, though I did manage a little walk to the crag to spectate some of the climbing.
My sit bones have still not recovered, I might even have to miss the biking and run tomorrow!
20 miles on the bike today. The others were practising race starts and did a little mock relay race - I was chief starter ( and sunbather)
It to was absolutely glorious today, not a cloud in the sky, hardly any wind and 22 degrees. Perfect.
Sunbathing sounds a better option.
Warm here too, 10 deg C and a nice 11 miler tonight.
Another 24 miles biking today, making 98 for the week. I am keeping it all at a by steady pace that I hope will transfer well into marathon training.
22 degrees again, but a bit more windy. E even joined us for the ride today.
Rest day by the pool planned for tomorrow.
8.5 track miles done tonight - going to be warm ish for the weekend.
Lovely easy 9.2 miler this morning in the sunshine.
Gorgeous sunshine, 10.66 quick miles done first thing then sat back and watched the finish of a club organized off road 10k race......with cake
Morning. Yesterday sounded a lovely day Paul.
I have not been well! So no bike riding or running And it wasn't even sunny yesterday. However the sun is out today, and even though I'm not well enough to exercise Im going to make the most of the sunshine around the pool.
Good for you phys - we're off to Barcelona for the weekend and the forecast looks good too. Hope you are fully recovered before long..........grape allergy?
We've had a wonderful couple of days here, wall to wall blue skies.
Actually not a grape allergy this time, i'm feeling a little better and managed a little roll down the hill to the cafe to meet the others, after a morning of sunbathing. My training is not going so well but my tan is looking good......
I hope you have good weather for Barcelona, is there a marathon there this weekend by any chance?
Nice 8.5 miler tonight.
Evening. I made it back on the bike today, just 14 miles as I cut it short to be sensible. It was a hilly one thought, but I'm pleased that I feel OK.
Another bike ride today, more reasonable mileage, with 25 today.
Last evening ting and we fly back tomorrow. Despite not being well I still feel I've got a good amount of biking in, but no running as I had planned. I'll get back into it from Sunday, I promise.....
