Sunday 9th April 2006
The glorious sunshine continues here and just off for a club run tonight to stretch those post London legs out a little.
After a couple of busy marathon weekends I have decided though to not run in Milton Keynes next weekend (it was a free entry anyway) and to save myself the probable Easter traffic chaos. Means Prague will probably only be 149 not 150 but who's counting.
Evening. Mrs A must be gutted at missing a holiday to Milton Keynes
6 miles done here. I was really pleased with how the hip, and legs, felt after the weekend's long run so I actually went slightly faster tonight. Gorgeous evening weather helped too.
9.7 miles done tonight with the club, some recovery run @ 7:20 av pace.
OK I am now officially thinking about Florence
PLenty of time to train for that one
Florence has a good reputation, about time you got your ar$e in gear again.
well it hasn't been that long since my last one - only 8 years
No point in rushing into these things.
I think Maddy deserves a well done, I only lasted 4 years!
Rest from running day for me today, 12 hours at work instead...
Lovely day out there
I am even thinking of entering the ballot for London next year - although that is largely based on the statistical probability that I won't get in
Mrs A is resisting all pressure to enter the London ballot, might have to just enter her anyway and suffer the consequences if she strikes lucky.
Enter phys and hopefully we'll see you get lucky.
8 miles on the track tonight.
Bliddy freezing here today, sun might be shining but wind is not nice. Still another 8 miles for the training log.
I might not have mentioned I have kittens again 4 week sold and one is throwing up so a vets visit entailed this morning probably nothing but better safe than sorry at that age
It is lovely out again
When is the ballot I know you have to be quick
Phys - what day and time are your flights in and out of Prague? We used a really good transfer firm last time and was thinking we could combine if the timings worked out.
22 miles done today It was very cold first thing, but the sun started to peep out for the 2nd half. I did have a headwind for the way back though. I still had to stop a couple of times for stretches but overall I'm really pleased.
i bet those kittens are so cute. I love kittens, but I'm not allowed them as they turn into cats and scare off all he birds.
I was going to ask you about transfers Paul.
We we land at 17.25 on the Friday, and our return flight isn't until 21.15 on the Monday. Any good.
Doesn't match up on the way out, we don't land until about 2130 on Friday. We'll see you at the hotel for a nightcap. The return looks like it should work though, our flight is a similar time I think.
We used these guys before and they were excellent:
Well done on the long run btw.
