Very wet last night so hoping that is the worst of the weather gone through. 0730 start and today we will be mostly dodging the thunderstorms and battling the gales. Not great for pacing Lauren to a sub 3:15 but we'll give it a shot. It might quickly be apparent that conditions aren't right for her and we'll reconsider.

Morning. Came on to post Good Luck, but I don't know the time difference so I might be too late. Doesn't sound like the kind of weather you travel to Malta for! What a shame. Not great for spectating either... It's MrsA I feel sorry for

Having seen a bit on FB I can see it wasn't the easiest day out for you all today. Well done on ticking another one off!

I stuck grimly to the pacing task and sub 3:15 went out of the window at about 6 miles. Lauren dug in though and we managed to sneak a few second PB for her which was excellent considering the wind. She wasn't happy but is now already realising that she ran well despite it being an ugly run. Number 169 for me.

Home and safely back in Blighty after a fun but busy weekend away.

8.8 miles of hills tonight - back on it.

Back on it here too.... Sort of. 2 laps walk around the park. I'm very limited with my pelvis now, it was really sore yesterday, a bit better today after I stayed off my feet.

Feeling a bit more lively today so got straight on the turbo for my half hour session ????

Well done Paul in bad conditions

Hello Howard

Now in week 5 of the couch to 5K programme - it was the right decesion to doit I am much more consistent than I would have been on my own and have a chance of running becoming a habit again after many years.  Foot complains for a time but so long as I drop one run at the right time it is getting stronger and surviving more and more as I go along.

Going to try and get swimming back into my routine next week.  There is a pool across the road from work

9.5 miles on the track tonight

Easy trail marathon on Sunday.

Easy 8.5 this morning, followed by a full English.

Supposed to be a difficult test of navigation tomorrow, sounds like it is right up my street. Map and compass polished ready.

That's a lot of running for a weekend Paul! Especially once you have added all the "lost" miles in

It looks like I might be starting my own little "marathon" event.......

Hot water and towels?

We have a few around, things are slow though, just been for my lap around the park, in the wind and rain.

Well lovely sunny weather for our jaunt around the New Forest but after 29 miles of mud, mud and more mud I'm feeling a little weary. Marathon 170 done though
