Back from a few days Internet free in the Dales, attending a wedding on Saturday. No proper exercise but plenty of walkng in very windy conditions. We went to spectate at a cycle event on Sunday and the poor cyclists were habing to pedal downhill!!

Well done on Thr pacing, and generally keeping the thread mileage tally going. It'd a godd job you run enough miles for 2 people!

Morning

Glad you had a good weekend, Mrs A and family are out there somewhere, Bentham?

Into off road marathon season now after the serious fun of London etc, next few weekends are pretty busy. Have got a return to the Dartmoor Discover (32.5 miles of very hilly road ultra) to look forward to in a couple of weeks.

Morning

Easy 10 miler last night with Lauren, Ox off road marathon at the weekend so hoping it stays dry underfoot.

Bentham is more Lancashire way, we don't want to go over there!

Finally ly some exercise to report. Just 30 mins on the turbo. Physlet is still demanding lots of attention. Especially at night - it's exhausting!

Oohh, didn't realise it was across the border, not sure she took her passport.

Nice, easy 8 on the track tonight and then a hilly off road no doubt 27 miles at least Ox marathon on Sunday.

Uh oh the echo returns.......

Morning

Early start, sun is shining, off to The Ox marathon - 27 miles of hills.......now where are my crampons?

Well that was lumpy, change of course order this year which was better but tougher as all the big hills were towards the end now. Easy paced with Guy (who was struggling a bit today) but we split about 22 miles on one of the big hills. Pushed on to the finish but the extra mile meant I had to sprint the last big hill to sneak under 4 hours 178.

Well done Paul, and Guy. Sounded like a hard one.

Not sure how the echo occurred again. I haven't been back to the Dales! Long walk yesterday taking Physlet off road in his pram. His head was bouncing all over the place but it didn't seem to bother him. He must have a neck like Paula's!

Lovely new profile pic on FB Paul

i managed another 30 mins turbo today, with Physlet spectating from his bouncy chair. I didn't think he'd last the half hour but he seemed happy enough. He got quite excited when I speeded up for my intervals. I wonder if he remembers from when he was a bump?!
