Hoping Physlet is improving, very worrying.

Good Day 1 here, 1st place in 3:19 which was quicker than planned but couldn't turn down the chance of a win. 3 mins ahead of 2nd but hoping he overlooked it today. Same lake but in the opposite direction tomorrow. 208 for me and 83 for Guy

Wow - a win, very impressive! Glad to see you can still pull the fast ones out  of the bag  I hope today has gone just as well, if not quite so fast.

Physlet is much better, thank goodness. Apparently it's not the height their temp gets too that causes them, but the speed at which it goes up. And now he's had one he's more likely to have another. Which makes me nice and nervous! Fortunately his temp has come down today, though he's still very quiet.

Great news about physlet

3:24 today and 2nd place, although only beaten narrowly by a 'one day wonder', increased my lead over the Quadzilla field. Windy today and tough as we ran reverse direction today with the long straight into a stiff head wind. Forecast is truly awful tomorrow so day 3 is going to be a tough one. #209.

Well done on another podium, and a very decent time with a headwind. Hope it's not as bad as predicated tomorrow.

E is the latest casualty, lying in bed shivering all day, and I feel loads worse than yesterday - I think I was running on adrenaline then. I'll be running vicariously for a while yet I think, good job you've got 2 more

Tough day out today, rain was less heavy than forecast but the wind was something else. Anyway 2nd place but 1st Quadzillaer again in 3:34. Last day tomorrow and whilst it is forecast to be windy again should not be like it was today.

Windy again for day 4 but nowhere near as strong as yesterday and it stayed just about dry. 3:30 for 3rd place and 1st Quadzillaer again - am officially the 2016 Enigma Quadzilla 2016 Champion

Guy ran 4 sub 4s too and is now up to 86 - all in all a good four days work.

Excellent running from both of you. 3.30 for the 4th marathon on the trot is pretty impressive! As is being a quadzilla winner in surely the wettest, windiest year!. ????

Just struggling through the days here, Physlet is perfectly better now, but E and I are stuggling to get energy back.

Well a week of man flu after last weeks exploits has been a dull one. First run since Sunday tonight on the track, 8 miles but felt like running on one lung and 6:30 pace felt hard work. Still nice to be back out again.

13/02/2016 at 17:32

Still running on one lung, but an easy 8.3 miles this morning in the cold rain, not sure it was what the doctor would prescribe but good to be out.

13/02/2016 at 21:23

Oh no. Sad to hear you had man flu, I'm just getting energy back and contemplating some exercise. Maybe tomorrow - in Thor u old sunshine I hope!

14/02/2016 at 09:22

Running re-started. A gentle 3 miles in cold crisp sunshine just to test the lungs

Well done phys.

After a cold start here the sun came out here as well. Led an easyish 14.5 miler with some good hills this morning, followed by Full English at the local Station Cafe. Easy week planned this week, can still feel the Quadzilla lurking in my legs. Nice marathon double next weekend in Kent.

Turned up at the club to lead the fast group tonight but no takers, so very nice 8.4 miler by myself. Lovely cold evening but great for running.

17/02/2016 at 16:20

Afternoon. Another 3 miler this morning, in the cold and wet so quite pleased with myself.

17/02/2016 at 16:21

You've obviously scared everyone off Paul!

19/02/2016 at 19:19

Another pre-brekkie 3 miler this morning, at a very slow pace due to all the ice. Parts of it were more like skating than running.

Good luck for your double Paul. I presume it starts tomorrow?

Day 1 all done at the 100 Marathon Club AGM marathon, lovely to see lots of members out but a little dull in terms of route  - 13 laps of a 2 mile Tarmac bike track. Easy run today and a 3:35 felt v comfortable, same again tomorrow but with much more wind forecast. #212

20/02/2016 at 21:45

Hmm - sounds very dull. Especially to do twice! Well done anyway, or maybe even more so...

213 - a crazy number! I wonder what your old self would have thought if I told you when I first met you at Rotterdam that you would have run 200+ marathons a decade later....

21/02/2016 at 09:00

3 miles done. The wind is just starting to pick up here, but I did stay dry. I hope it's not too bad for yours Paul.

21/02/2016 at 22:03

I would have doubted it was possible phys.

A very windy run today and another 13 laps of the same course in the same direction. Still just had a steady run and surprisingly was 3 mins quicker than yesterday. The 3 others from Yeovil also did fine and all got the job done.....Guy is now up to 88.

Fantastic medal today, huge and the detail commerorating the 50th anniversary of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is something else. #213.
