Good work guys.

Nice hilly 9.25 miler tonight in the sunshine.

8 miles on the track tonight. Tomorrow rest day and then Guy's 100th on Sunday

Hot and very humid day out at the Dorset Invader yesterday made it very tough. A couple of detours made it a 28 mile day out for me too. Struggled but so did everyone, sneaked a top 10 finish so not too bad. Guy got the job done and it was a privilege to present him with his coveted 100 Marathon Club vest and medal

Steady 7 miler tonight in the heat.

Aplogies to Guy, I was going to post a good luck, then a congratulations as I saw some stuff on Facebook but seemed to run out of time. A massive well done to him, and here's to many more, for both of you.  I was thinking of you both I the heat!

Another trailer ride on Sunday, a short commute and an extended route in this morning make for a good weekly cycling total by my current standards!

Hot 6.25 miles on the treadie yesterday followed by a quick 8 on the track tonight.

Day overshadowed by Jane getting a call from the hospital saying her Dad has 24 hours or so and she may want to be with him. She has dropped everything whilst I was at work and travelled up with one of her brothers, not helped by the holiday traffic. Not sure how this is going to pan out but thoughts are with her and the family.

Well the good news is 30+ hours on John is still stable and, whilst not out of the woods, looking improved. Still 50/50 I understand but looking more positive.

I'm really sorry to hear that MrsA's Dad is so unwell. That journey must have been horrible, so I'm glad that she can spend time with him now, whatever happens next.

I squeezed another short cycle commute into this week, though was very tired after a bad night with Physlet, so the pace was sedate.

Jane's Dad is still fighting, stable and doing well.

Nice 14.5 miler this morning. No marathons for a couple of weeks but then off to Ireland for a Quad in August.

14 miles with the trailer as we snuck a mid week family ride in to make up for missing Sunday's ride.

A nice easyish 8.9 this morning followed by a few hours of DIY........I need a lie down.
30/07/2016 at 16:22

A big well done on the DIY... As long as you finished the job?

Not good here, I have another bug from Physlet, probably Rotavirus, that has put eating, never mind exercising right off the agenda.

Nice lumpy 12.7 miler this morning.

A busy afternoon jet washing the patio and front path. Operation 'make the house look really smart so we can sell it' is underway

Oh my goodness Paul, how exciting! So you've finally seen sense and are coming to Yorkshire...

I finally felt a bit better so we managed a little trailer ride, well as far as the cafe! 10 slow steady miles for the log.
