I'm really pleased you all enjoyed the race.  Yes it was a race with a difference and it probably will be a one-off, unless I can get permission to close the road one Sunday morning in the future!

Thanks to all who competed in the race. It looks as though we raised a total of around £8,000 to be distributed amongst local charities and good causes in the Alderley Edge and surrounding area and I understand a similar amount was raised by the walk along the bypass that took place after the race.

Pictures are up on the great Bryan Dale website

Bryans pictures of the event

No charge for the pictures either

I think about half of the 1700+ pictures he took are up - the rest will be going up over the next few days. If you're not in any of them it's worth checking back in a day or two.

We are lucky in this region to have Bryan at most local races.

His photos are of a higher quality than some that you have to pay for

Really good race! And a bit different. Thanks Malcolm.

It was fun having William Roach there too, as I love Corrie!

Thanks to Bryan for pics. Not looked at them yet, but I know they'll be good.

Jules, Roach did the prize giving. Didn't leave early! He was knocking around for ages.

I know I saw the pictures of him presenting I didnt mean early early just before people like myself crawled to the end at a dreadful 46 mins snail pace!
