With all this rain, these G3's are going to be absolutely swamptastic this year. Popped over the March course a couple of weeks ago and nearly lost a shoe in the quagmire.

Fantastic fun! No, I am not part of the organisation but do it every year and occaionally marshall.

Early start at 08.30 so all done and dusted by 10am Saturday morning.

Popped over again for 5 miles yesterday. There come a point where you give up trying to pick your way through the boggy stuff and just let the Walsh's do their job. That or mud wrestle, or both. Hilarious.

Come on A_S, you know you want to!

Just a small point or am I doing something wrong? Looking at the March 2nd event (and possibly the January and February as well) Why, when advertised at £16 entry fee does the website show £17 plus £1.11 admin fee, thereby making £18.11 and clearly not £16. Shame as this is clearly a great event but when times are hard there has be be a limit.

What is the limit?  My limit might be lower, or higher, than yours.

Had a mail today saying event postposed for a week due to the weather, not in respect of the run (he'd run that in anything) but car park issues and non gritting etc. And it's a heaving great hill to get up in the car from either direction.

Obviously check for yourselves etc.

Re cost, no it's not a cheapie by any means, but it is a bit different from your run of the mill 10K around an industrial estate. I regularly run the courses in training but the race is always a bit more special.
