Looking to do a 10K or 1/2 marathon somewhere in Europe - probably a City run - not too hot (so not a run in summer months) - plus a destination to where some of the budget airlines fly to. Can't afford BA 1st class. Anyone suggest any - plus details of entries or any good websites that might give me more information.

thanks

when are you hoping to run? We have just done a race in Prague - 10k for men (being a mere female my race was only a 5k). Well organised and good fun. Accessible via Easyjet from Gatwick, not sure about other flights. Beer very cheap once you get there!

Amsterdam 10k, half and mara, Vienna mara and 4 person relay, Rome 5k and mara - all excellent

Amsterdam sounds good - as does Prague - how do I find out about these. Looking to run sometime when its not too hot (so avoiding summer months)

Prague was run last weekend, expect a similar date next year. The link I gave gives details of this years race and should be a starting point for next year. You can always contact the organisers, someone there speaks good enough English!

The main Prague mara and relay etc is in May - don't know what last weekend's race was.

Both Prague and Vienna had theirs on 22nd May (both can get quite hot - I ran Vienna this year and the temperature of around 25C ruined my PB attempt)
