Been out with Brian Grice yesterday to mark out the new RunWirral 10K course and pleased to report it flat, fast and stunningly accurate. I would expect good times from this course which starts in Birkenhead Park and finishes on the dips at New Brighton.

It's part of the marathon day but should be a great addtion to a brilliant day.

Does that mean the course finishes with a nice fast downhill bit?

Unfortunately not, just flat!! No downhill, elf 'n safety. Look what happened to the great sport of cheese rolling!!

Lol ! The dips are the grassy bowls where thy hold the Wirral show. No free speed there !
