Salisbury is indeed the 5-4-3-2-1 marathon on 12th August.

At least, the one I'm talking about is!

I'm obviously a lot slower - I came in 3 1/2 mins quicker than expected from the Garmin

My garmin also came up with 25.80 at the finish of SDM.
I'm also thinking of entering the 54321 Salisbury marathon but doing the 30km as a training run towards The Grizzly in September but would prefer to see a route map before I commit to enter, anyone know where the route can be seen?

Final note for this year from me.

We're investigating using Slindon College for the start and running up onto the Downs from the bottom of Monarch Way. This will give an indoor area and a more pleasing place to be than Whiteways car park. It will mean a bit more climb on leg 1 but should get rid of the loop at the start.

Thats a nice run whichever way you go and the hill is not too drastic. Look forward to your report next year.

I'll be back next year for the third time to keep the 'streak' going. I'm hoping that if its like London, I'll get free entry for the 25th, roll on 2030...

2030 sounds good to me. I too plan to be a SDM streaker for years to come!
