Morning No.8

Really please with my time of 1:45:30 it was 7 second slower than my pb, but that was at Thanet 10 a flat race. The man at the finish said times were slower this year.

Morning TG, there's a good picture of you at the finishing line on the Biggleswade website .... think its up in the 120's numbers?

Oh by the way - 364 SLEEPS TO GO!

Well done No. 8 and everyone else involved with the organisation. I crept under 89 mins so I'm reasonably satisfied. We were lucky with the weather although some of you lightweights must have struggled on the way back from Everton.

I can recommend the Cock at Broom for post-race rehydration.

A really below-average performance for me. Well must have been as MRF beat me (only just though. About 10M in the end. My fast finish wasn't quite fast enough :-) )

I did say 81-84 and 84 mins 16 secs was the difference to MRF !

Was a bit of a Sluggish beast today, although not a mythical beast (met Slow Going who now knows I really do exist) but enjoyed it.

Didn't find the wind too bad apart from the final finish up the footpath (thought somebody had parked a jet at he top with its engines running).

Gave No.8 a pitiful shout, which was why he didn't hear me !

Great time by KatieB - Impressed.

Just looked at the picture MRF (no.49). Yep I'm clearly just behind and looking absolutely knackered ....

Geoff (Return to Bletchley) will enjoy my holiday and see you around in May.

Will miss Aldbury on 23rd April, so next entered race is Silverstone on 2nd May.

Does anyone know John Murray, No.503 at Sandy 10. I have two photos of John, one in the NF10 when he finished in 2:06 and the one from Sandy 10 in 3:04. Has he had a injury?

Hi all Sandy 10 runners,

Anyone see my right Brooks running shoe (with sock inside) and bunched up green t-shirt with race number 483 left on the parking field at the sports centre? So keen was I to get to the pub that I left this vital equipment behind. The shoe is blue/white GTS ladies size 5.5.
Thanks for any info anyone.

Kate
Can I suggest you also post a message on the Biggleswade AC website forum http://www.biggleswadeac.org.uk/ (click on the 'Enter my forum' button at the bottom left of the screen). This will alert all BAC members.
