What?! You have to turn up by Noon?! You have to have bought a token beforehand!

Is this some sort of conspiracy to stop me ever running again :-( This sounds impossible :-( But you might see me there cheering you home ;-) I'll be the one with the ice cream and the beer belly.

Guess I'll just go to the social instead :-)

Hollywood, I can bring a spare voucher with me in the unlikely event that we both get there early enough and you want to run. I should get there before 12, trains permitting.
I have my number already.

Hollywood,
if you are not in the park by 01:47 AM you will never make it into the race ;-)

That worked out well! I managed to get my Moccha Freezer on the way home and make it back before anyone noticed.

Nice to have met you, LN, and remet the rest of you (LL, JJ, Lars, Snail, Mr Snail, UM). Well run, everyone!

It was more of a depressed shuffle than a run. But never mind!

Well done Little Nemo for beating the cut-off AND getting a pb:-))

Results are already online but I guess you have all seen them already?
27/05/2005 at 16:59
I don't want to see mine!!

(but thanks, Lars:-))

Call it a shuffle if you like, LL, but it looked pretty efficient from where I was standing!

Well done on the PB, LN!

RC - What do you know about efficient running? You can't even run 3000 in 12:02 ;-)

I wonder when the pictures will be up?

"efficient". Yes, I like that word. Thanks Rattie :-))

I hope this thread doesn't turn out like the last one. Let's keep it quiet yeah?

Photos up now (had to stop at Waitrose on the way back). Still, a PB for the results - up at 1427, would have been 1403 but for the slow server ...

Groundhog - hope the numbers in order were okay: not my fault if Malcolm swapped the first and second race late in the day :))
Well run, Nemo and Lady L! Too hot for pbs, but clearly Nemo had other ideas!

Phew, what a scorcher!

Just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic support on the home straight, sure that helped shave a few more seconds off. V. pleased to set a new PB (32:55!) in such tough conditions. Lovely to meet you all again, Lady Lucan, Ultra Meerkat and Johnny J. and nice to meet Lars, Ratcatcher, Snail and Mr Snail for the first time too. I'll definitely run this again, but maybe in a few months when it's a bit cooler...

PS: RC, you were right about the Mocha Freezer. I managed to track one down and it was delicious!
