Question Why do 30,000 + pay to run round the streets of london? when they could have a really great day out on Snowdonia like we all had in 2007 i think even CD liked it a bit.

Anyone got a long range weather forecast for this race?

I TOTALLY agreen with what you say about FLM / GNR fellrunner. When I reviewed this race on here a few years ago I said the same thing. There are so many hidden gems on the UK marathon calendar, why bother with the hustle and bustle when you can just drive to snowdon, get a bus to the start, run the marathon and then drive home! Done London twice having enterd 7 years on the trot, shant be doing it again. Will leave it to the rhinos and scooby doo's of the world

For those that loved Snowdon this year one to definitly consider next is the White Peak Marathon in May. Held on a totally traffic free course in the Peaks its also got dtunning scenary, and pretty much the only undulations are the steep downhills to the finish.

hey guys found you

dont mean to offend anyone but i wouldn't enter ANY city race if you paid me. give me hills, mud, grass and my dog and that's me happy

i got a bit worried on saturday when i got to the summit of snowdon all alone and realised i'd run the wrong race !

think i'll be back for 4th's next year as i edge my way closer to the 4hr mark. think if i loose 1-2stone it would be doable

fr - i'm planning on doing the 62m 3 rings of shap next june - do you know of any runs in may that are around 40m-ish? april i'm fine with - will either do 3 peaks or highland fling
