Is the 14:30 cut off at 18 miles based on an 11:00 start?ie 3.5 h for first 18 milesQuite tempted by Snowdon 2013
Hello all..how are we? TR40, wasnt it great at Conwy. Gutted to discover that I crossed the line with the winner of my age group but she got 1st cos she started 4 secs further up the field. Should have put a sprint finish in
Great racing this wkd guys, well done
Wishing you a very speedy recovery T Rex.
Bath Hilly Half for me this coming sunday....the clues in the title
Just tried posting the Conwy half official video, but link didn't work
10:30 start usually, OH.
You're fitting a lot of races in, Laudy. Do you do ultras by any chance?
Went to fracture clinic today and one broken end of collarbone very near to puncturing the skin. Consultant said to go back and see him if it does. On some serious painkillers. Sorry about your friend, brer.
Gloucester marathon and 50K is actually on my birthday, but not a good idea on the back of what looks like is going to be no training.
Not sure about this bike thing.
TR - Get well soon mate.
T-Rex - hope you get all healed soon can't believe you carried on biking to work after
Brer and JD - well done on race results
I'm just about back running and exercising again after being ill can't believe how much it took out of me but it's a hopefully not to long a climb back to full fitness cos those hills sure do feel hard at the moment.
Happy running everyone
Chrissi - the situation has to be very serious before I give up!!
Thanks for all well wishes.
T-Rex I managed to similarly break a collar bone (and 3 ribs) coming off a bike in July 2010. Took me quite a while to get fully fit again as it didn't unite until December. Sleeping was a B**&%er for the first few weeks despite painkillers. Hoping you'll have a quicker recovery. It was after that I took up running.
I think if cut off is 4h for 18 miles, I'd be wanting to call it a day myself by then as something would be going seriously wrong..
T Rex- ouch... Hope the recovery isn't too prolonged...
Nice track session tonight with clubmate for a change- could still feel the weekend's 2 races in my legs, but the company definitely helped!. I did: 2.02m warm up (6.32, 5.54) 3.01m tempo (5.56, 6.00, 5.58) 1 min off, 2m tempo (5.56, 6.00) 1.03m warm down (7.18, 13)
Jason..you clearly haven't had a long haul of Parents Evening mtgs until 8pm then..blimey, what a long day without a break since 7.30am. Running a marathon is a doddle compared to these. Only 2 more to go
TRex, how goes it?
Chrissi, hi. Is there still snow on the mountain tops? Saw some whilst at Conwy..so beautiful.
OH-just do it!!
Gutted for the people of Llanberis who have been affected by today's floods!
I echo those sentiments John Bach .Just awful.
