Its the pressure of not being responsible for anything this year. I'm actually running instead of organising.

This race starts and finishes at Woodbank stadium and so I would therefore class it as undulating as opposed to hilly.

Entries are filling up fast and we are now over 700. It's being featured on Runners World next week as 'Race of the Week' so expect the the remaining places to fill up pretty quick.

If you're thinking of entering this race then do so quickly!! We have 820 entries to date and the race limit is 900.

They ran it on ice a couple of years ago so I doubt it will be cancelled. But I am not one of the organisers so you will have to wait for the official word!

BB - next week's forecast looks much better. We haven't even discussed the eventuality of a cancelled or postponed race and hopefully we won't have to. We will be keeping a very close eye on the weather and forecast once we're into next week though. Updates will appear in the usual places, including on here.

Just a quick update on this. As Eric says we are now past 820 entrants for the race and it's looking like being another sell out. The entries will be kept open until the end of the week and then its very likely the Race Full signs will go up. So if you've not already done so get your entry in now. Got my number today - I must have been a bit quick off the mark, as I got number 9! Really looking forward to this one now, just hoping the weather is ok for it.
