Hi Caz......

This race is already half full.

Don't forget the Bells of Pattingham next week .... it's a must do race.

Thursday 8th December we are doing that xmas lights training run from DK to Stourbridge that you did last year. Invite the Cobra lot again....

Sunday 27th Dec the Wheaton Aston 10k you did last year is limited to 400 entries, and no entries on the day.

Back to the Suicide Six, I shall be there with my camera as you take on the stream.

Though you had given your camera away Brian or started running. Have not seen you for some time.

I ran the Swansea 10k in 46 mins, not bad for a 60 year old.

I have entered the Bells, and have someone else to take the photo's.

I shall be entering the Mortimer Forest as I always do.

I am running twice a day in Baggeridge, so I don't really need to run the Suicide. But again, I never would whilst that water jump is there.

Get your Cobra colleague's to come again this year to DK for the annual jog up to Woollaston to see the lights. Caz came last year with some of your club members and enjoyed it.

Whilst we are on Cobra, have a look at the race page, the links to races aren't right.

It’s faster than this 40 year old, well done mate.

I missed the run due to work last year but will try again last year I know that Caz and the other Cobra lot enjoyed it. Just let us know the dates

Thanks for the info on website.

Hello I'm a newbie
Can anyone tell me if this is the run where there's a "glue pit" and "jacob's ladder". Thanks
10/10/2005 at 17:16
Sure is!!

Got my number today :-)
10/10/2005 at 19:11
are you thinking about the Grizzly ? as that has the glue pit ( knee deep slurry ) and if I remember some mother of a climb up wooden steps
11/10/2005 at 18:02
Are you loosing it Nibbs? This is the one with the glue pit and jacobs ladder.

Not some soft course in some far off place.
12/10/2005 at 17:12

Thanks guys. I'll have my snorkel and wetsuit ready.
13/10/2005 at 15:16
Where's the "Grizzly"? Have you tried the Tough Guy?
13/10/2005 at 20:22
Nibbs i thought it was near a pub
13/10/2005 at 23:38
The Grizzly is a 20 mile trek along the coast of devon ( seaton ) and it is one of the best runs for coastal views I have ever done , trouble is every time I have tried to book it it is allways full !!
PUBS / KEBAB HOUSES is that all you think of ?? on the subject of elite athletes if I remember I drove to this one last year so I couldn't go for a PB I'm just wondering if I will get to go for it this year if ya know what I mean !
13/10/2005 at 23:40
oh I forgot to mention I have done tough guy twice but only the summer one so I suppose that makes me a bit of a tough pussy . Exiled on the other hand .....................
14/10/2005 at 06:08
Hey Caz,

Do you know where the chalk is it looks like Nibbs and Exiled want to start putting lines on the wall if you know what I mean!

Nibbs have you thought of trying to apply in advance rather than waiting for the day.

Exiled keep the faith, The thought of you drying out is frightening.

How many runners are we up to on this race now?

14/10/2005 at 06:26
Morning Waylander :-) Do you have to put up with this all the time? No wonder you tell them you're working late and can't make it!!!
14/10/2005 at 06:29
Good Morning Caz,

Tell you what it gets to the point I have to make them stand on opposite side of the woods.
14/10/2005 at 06:38
:-) I can well imagine the Uffy scenario, must be exhausting for you.
