Ah but Brian, if we all go to the pub smelling the same we wont notice the stanch of each other, whilst at the same time clearing the pub making the bar more readily accessable :-)

Another newbie to this one! It all sounds a bit scary but youv'e not put me off so far!! Any help with what shoes to wear though or are waders a better option?

Flippers would be the sensible option for this but I think you would get away with x country shoes (not spikes )

Been on the course today, the Start/Finish area resembles a bog (as in Ireland).
Having got caught in that rain yesterday in Kinver, and having an hour's run back in Terrential Rain, I have to say that I've had my share of water for this year thank you. If it is raining on the day, I shall have done my 2 hour run, and made the hard decision to stay indoors.
