Bit dubious about this one with the word "hill" in the title! Does anyone know anything about the course? No info re this on website, which to me suggests there are probably hills!! I'm trying to break 50 mins and won't be able to on a hilly course!

Hi Happyrunning - ran this one last year and it's a good route (a sort of figure of eight I think). There's one longish steady climb (up Sundayshill funnily enough) but you get to run down the other side. I did one of my better 10k times there last year if that's of any help.

Frampton 10k is probably flatter and the Towpath 10ks in Bristol are pretty good too.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Guestie, could you tell me where I can find info re Towpath 10ks? I did Frampton last year but am working away this year and I'm looking for a flattish course to try and break 50 mins! I would like one around July to give me some time to build up the speedwork

Happyrunning - type Great West Runners into your Search Engine as they organise the Towpath 10K series. The first one is on 30 May 2003 at 19:30. Start and finish are in Greville Smyth Park (down by Bristol City F.C.).
