Getting too expensive perhaps?

Have just got an entry form for Brighton Half as this is a local event for me. Why is it so expensive? £18 until the 31st December and then £20 from 1st Jan. (A donation to Sussex Beacon is "optional").
What do you get for your money? nearby Hastings has a much bigger Half marathon which cost £15 in comparison. Think I'll be giving this one a miss somehow.

Totally agree - I think the charity, worthy though it is, views the event as a cash cow. We've done it for the last couple of years - but no more.

We'll be in Ashford that day - only a 10K but much better value.
