Sand is sick.Phil, you're not right.Maybe if you gave up the beer (and the goldfish) you'd see the light and say no to sand.

WP,I will be sending you good luck vibes tomorrow.Just do your best and no one can ask more of you than that. You'll do fantastically well.I've got a good feeling.

Going for the 18 miler at 10am.At least it'll be much cooler for us all tomorrow.

Good luck to Alex,I believe you're racing too?Have a good one both.

"The Jacks are going up" - Hmmmmmmm ?

Thanks for the luck. More jogging than racing tomorrow I think. Have a heafty schedule of Sunday Saunters booked for the next 7 weeks.

24/7 Glos 1/2
31/7 Exmoor Seaview 17
7/8 Brecon 10
14/8 Great Yarmouth 1/2
20/8 Race the Train
21/8 Merthyr Police 10k
28/8 TROT 10k
11/9 Lake V. 1/2
25/9 Pembs 1/2
2/10 Bristol 1/2

Rats. Just realised I had also intended to do the Tenby 10k, also on 31/7. I am a regular genius don't you know.

Morning

Thanks Guys much appreciated and needed !!

Right PB is 1.49 on a flattish course(Reading 2004)

So anything under 1.55 will be okay
1.50 very happy

Anything under 1.50 involves me fainting on floor also means someone swapped places with me:-)

Evening All,

(Ho yusss, < bends knees >, whassallthisthen)

1:46 on the Glos 1/2 with little or no effort. Helped pace someone I came upon up to mile 10. Got wet. Very Wet. Flat course with a couple of mild undulations.

I was proceeding in an easterly direction when ......

Hi there Jen,

Don't know about 1:30, but I reckon I could knock a fair slice off this without a problem. I think the pace I ran it was about right for a 3:30 marathon attempt.

All my hills are paying off as I was (especially after mile 10 when I was running on my own) zooming past loads of people on them.

Drunk 1.5 pints of bitter and a glass of wine last night (I normally don't drink) and feeling terrible today. Stomach feels raw & bloated. Most unpleasant. Never again.
