Evening all

Boffin -  Its for the job I am currently doing at the University.  It will probably go to someone who is employed permanently but will give it a go.  The S4C coverage seemed to feature me alot I admit.

Never work with animals or children they say......

Very tired. May just go to bed now.

Morning all

A lovely morning but cold again so wrap up warm!

Nutty -  if there's someone permanent who can do the job, why are you doing it at the moment? Surely the very fact that you are there and doing the job perfectly well right now makes you a shoo-in.

Exhausted after yesterday. Got home from work at 5.20, did a quick snack for kids and back out to Welsh for 6pm. Finally got to eat my lunch at 7.30pm. Didn't bother with dinner, straight to bed as soon as Welsh ended at 9pm. Mondays kill me at the moment. The Welsh course is really good, but three hours on a Monday night? Mae e'n ofnadwy.

No harm in giving it a go Nutty - you are obviously suited to the job, so dim problem

Another ram in the brambles - they do seem to be going out of their way to find the tiniest bit of bramble to get wound up in!

Office politics.... one thing about temping is that you don't get involved.  Don't give a toss about what's going on

Tracey - Monday's sound hard for you.  Think long term how you will feel having accomplished another one of your goals.

Boffin - who would be a farmer?

Milder this evening.

Your sleep patterns are a bit wonky again these days Nutty - could always bake pies if you are up anyway?

Morning .... I really do need to sort my Welsh out.

Anyway, another day of grind here we come

Boffin - used to do just that, go shopping and things.  Will try and sleep tonight.

WA - too many things to do, so little time.  Life is short so make sure the things you do are the best ones for you.

mole at the counter euph. A mammalian turtle's head. ''From the imprint of his shoes, Watson, I deduce that our quarry is a left-handed doctor of unusually short stature, who has known prosperity but has lately fallen on hard times. And by the short, irregular length of his stride, it is apparent that he has a mole at the counter,' said Holmes.' (from 'The Case of the Speckled Bowl' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle).

I am easily amused.

"Varnished like an old Oak Table", "Vanished Lord Percy, not Varnished." Familial quote often used when something cannot be found - stems from BlackAdder; although my 'Classical Education' is not up to par with Alex as I cannot site the episode or even series!

I am confident Tracey will have some gems for us...

Me, I'm off on the school run then muck out the cattle - Want to swap Seren?
