The meaning of life according to NR! Makes as much sense though as the other theories.

Friday at last!

Was a bit of a mixed bag of weather again.  My washing didn't dry, no surprises there!!

At least its Friday.

How is work with you Sue?

morning

work is a four letter word NR! It's ok (ish), very very busy and lots of staff stressed and worried. It's the same all over the NHS, but mental health services in Wales are under particular pressure at this time cos of new legislation and the benefits changing. We are bracing ourselves for the horror that'll start in April when the bedroom tax takes effect.

Enough of that, anyone going down to Cross Hands to the park run this morning?

Morning

Sweetie had a look not so long ago for the Cross Hands park run - it wasn't listed. She won't be there today for certain, but whereabouts is it for future reference?

I saw the physios last week and the best news is that I may be running sooner than I thought - in the spring for a conservative estimate. Apparently I have some aquatherapy sessions to come - maybe they want to teach me to swim?

Blustery this morning and a bit on the chilly side. I have some fencing to repair due to one of my rams getting rather excited at all the girls in another field. - Given I had to retrieve him from the girls yesterday, then we may have the odd late lamb this year! It wouldn't surprise me if he has got back in with them this morning!

Morning

Good Golly..... I am not sure how we lasted so long, but Boffette has just had her first 'sleep over' - only three 12 year old girls, but they didin't sleep - at all, and gosh are they loud at night!!!

Hiya folks

Boff - just remembered your question - so sorry! You can set up an account with Amazon for just what you wanted, just Google for how. The answer for the sleepover problem is also easily solved - earplugs.

Well, we are a plague house as I'm pretty sure Daisy has Norovirus. She is on the mend now but had 15 hours of severe nausea, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, joint pain and headache. She is able to keep fluids down now but is as weak as a kitten. Having seen what this bug can do to a healthy, robust teenager, I dread to think how it would affect an invalid, no wonder ot closes hospital wards. Tom has AS maths tomorrow, just hope he doesn't wake up feeling nauseous...

Evening all

Boffin - you just don't know what's in store with teenagers!!

Tracey - I hope Daisy will be better soon.  Hope you manage to escape the virus too.  Good luck to Tom with his exam.  How is the kitchen?

Ran Corus race today and got first lady in 31.29 for just over 5 miles.  Lovely day for it and always good to meet up with fellow runners

Well done on your win NR.

Tracey - hope all are well soon.
