12TH JULY 2005
What a lovely day. No rain, bit nippy but never mind.
Early morning swim, tutoring then lunch with parents. May try a little run in a bit
I know of a landscape gardener Tracey but did you want someone just to do maintenance? I can send you the number if you like.
Swimming is probably a good move Nutty; I should try it myself, I do do a little 'swimming' during hydrotherapy... more like 'Its a Knockout' really! For one of the exercises, I sit on a float, as if I were sitting on chair, and use my arms in breaststroke to move around the pool whilst still sitting on the float. Very funny!!
Sounds different Boffin. Whatever floats your boat!!!
Lovely day out there.
A bit nippy out there today. At least there are blue skies
you spoke too soon Nutty
morning......had a head cold over the last few days..........i think i have improved enough to try a bike ride today......my resting HR has lowered form yesterday so should be ok
Looks like it's going to hammer down on me on the way to work today.
Love the image of Boffin bobbing around the pool doing It's a Knockout!
I guess the whole point of the excercise is to work and strengthen my core and stomach muscles... propblem is that I have no strength in these muscles anymore - that's what makes it so funny to watch!!
The sun came out again. Hope you didn't get wet Tracey.
Boffin - so long as its working, it doesn't matter how you look.
No avoiding the rain today
boffin.you must do a video of it and put it on u tube for us
pretty grim out there today. My spin class has been spun, I think I'll spend the rest of the day indoors doing indoors type things.
The dogs have yet to be walked, but they can wait a while, it may yet clear up. It was fab yesterday.
I'm sat in my running kit trying to force my way out the door
I expect the sight of my excess poundage and moobs would put everyone of their pies Seren!
It has been dry with us so far today Nutty, had a good deal of rain in the night as evidenced by the cattle feed troughs which were full of water this morning! (2 of our cattle have overwintered outdoors as they went off to the bull and have only recently come back)
Turned out nice again!! Bit nippy though.
Seren - did you get a bit wet or wait?
Sue - hope you got lots of things done around the house.
Boffin - rain saves you carting water from the house. Nothing puts me off pie!!
Saying that, will soon be pie fest. Can you make it on 27 April Seren?
Blustery day. Wrap up warm
yesterday turned out to be a fab day in the end. I took the muppets to the beach, then we sat outside the 360, me with my hot chocolate and the muppets with nice biccies .
i avoided the rain yesterday......will i be as lcuky today....going out for a little bike ride to test both bikes to make sure they are fit to go
Some smashing Pie Fest photos on facebook Alex
Nice to look back and see how some things have changed, I no longer have all the ironwork to keep me mobile - for the moments when I struggle to put shoes on, it is good to be reminded of just how much the injury has improved.
Also a bit of a shock to see how much those calves have grown!
Well chilly out there to be sure Nutty.
