12TH JULY 2005
Sue - sorry to hear you are pulling out but sometimes life takes over. You have to think of yourself. There will be other races. I hope you are okay.
Seren - the pie fest is at my house at 2pm.
Tracey - running is strange. I feel better after hard, hilly runs rather than flat ones. We are funny creatures.
At least its Friday....
Good luck with sheep Boffin.
A lovely sunny day beckons...
Indeed it does !
is anyone running London at all this year
London - One nephew, one friend, two acquaintances. Got to be an all time low. Was it something I said last year?
Bit nervous about this - eight weeks with nothing to do. Lots of decorating, gardening, filing and cleaning planned plus the inevitable and ever present marking, but no class of students waiting for me to turn up. Don't really know where to start...
Stunning day today.
Tracey - I am sure you will soon fill your days up with things to do!
I won't be coming over to Llanelli tomorrow. I would have if Sue had been running but I don't know anyone else doing it. Will have lunch with parents too.
A few from the Port Talbot thread are doing London and quite a few from Les Croupiers. Lets hope they have good weather and enjoy.
I swam this morning and ran across the coast tonight.
Bit bleary eyed after Boff Jnr's Birthday sleepover - 6 16yr old boys are not that quiet!!
Hope you had a restful day Boffin.
Sounds like a good time was had by all at VLM.
Lunch with parents and managed a decent run today. Feels great
had a great sunny bike ride in wiltshire today.
OH had a nightmare in London.we never have va good london run...he was 40 mins slower than his last 3 marathons
Happy Birthday RK.
Seren - its always a good day out in London. Hope he is okay.
Here we go again!
VLM -a mixed bag from my friends ranging from unexpectedly good to pulled out at 10K. The consensus was that it was too hot and too crowded.
Watched it on telly having just got muddy runnning through the woods at the top of the Lliw Reservoir. Lovely run of 7 miles. Sat and watched the marathon, checking different people's progress, but instead of a quick shower and then on with my day I found myself soaking in a hot bath - sub-consciously I must have decided that I ran the marathon and needed to relax! Didn't even realise until Bob came in and asked what on earth I was doing!
Lliw Reservoir near Felindre - the cafe is open after a few years of sad neglect. Nice walk/run (dogs on lead) suitable for pushchairs - 7 miles, 5 miles, 2 miles. Very nice indeed. Go right to the top and remind yourself why we are so lucky to live in this wonderful country.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEV!!!
have a great day Kev............penblwydd Hapus
april is definitely the month for birthdays
Hapy Birthday Kev
Sounds like a nice run TRacey. Why not chill in the bath? It was the weekend and you can do what you like in your own home!!
Hope OH is home and recovering Seren.
I have done a few runs around the coast recently. As you say Tracey, we live in a lovely part of the world.
Evening ... !
Looking forward to the pie-fest on Sat. Will be good
