As the person with the fattest bum on the thread, I was joking about the lycra.

My muffin top is so big, it's more of a souffle.

Mouse! how can you claim that title when you haven't seen my bum.

Evening all, no running tonight, I'm off out for a hangover.

Evening all

A very enjoyable evening watching Indiana Jones with Fiona.  We talked non stop until the actual film came on.  Not a girly film at all but very enjoyable

Chris - hope you enjoy your pre birthday celebrations.  Hope you don't suffer too much on your big day.

Mouse  - is the cast off?  Hope so.

Scoffed loads of chocolate on the way home to keep me awake.  Hopeless. I will soon have muffin tops!!

Good news there Mouse

We have had a predominantly wet Half Term, and today is glorious sunshine... I get why I am indoors working (probably becuase I was a lazy so and so and found any reason not to do the work I needed to in the last few days!) - but why are my kids glued to the goggle box watching inane American kidy soaps?

Not only that but their rooms look like black holes with curtains drawn and windows battened down... do they know of a hurricane approaching I have not heard of?

Needless to say I have opened the house up in an attempt for the nice weather to find me, even if I cannot go and find it.

It's not all gloom and doom - this nonsense ends in less than a month

I have another one for you: I decided to challenge my ever expanding bulk this half term and get some running in. Friday evening Sweetie calls me for tea, I stand up and put my back out!!! So I have not been able to walk straight all week let alone run. I could have visited my Witch Doctor and got it fixed on Satruday, but for the 300 mile roundtrip required! No running was a pain, but I am less of a man now than I was at the beginning of the holiday, so progress was made

Back is much better today - tempted to have a wee run maybe this afternoon (good excuse to put of my work even more!).

Afternoon all,

Nice and easy 10 mile hangover cure run done this morning.

NR, long run tomorrow, the same 18 miler as last time. There are a few from the club coming, I will be leaving here at 7:50am to meet Alan p at Briton ferry roundabout at 8am.

Alex, are you up for it?

Any one else? All welcome.

I was meant to be doing a 20 - 25 mile walk this morning, but the weather was so nice, I did a 25 mile trip on the bike instead! I made it to the Water Park on the Millennium coastl path and back. I'm a bit of a girl on the open road, so it took me an age, but I enjoyed once I got off road. On my memory map there is a cycle track marked out that skirts around the bypass. I found it today

George, were you on the Coastal path today, with a bunch of cyclists in pink T shirts? If not, you have a double out there!

31/05/2008 at 16:09
Is it me, or does that cycle track end at a solid wall? - Perhaps it's one of those Harry Potter type walls and you have to cycle at it really fast?

Chris, i would love to but @ 8am I will be under starters orders in the lake in Margam.

Hiya Boff !
