A great way to justify the extra Xmas calories!

Hi

I've done this event a few times and it is a good workout.  Ideal for justifying an extra mince pie or two.

Not done this specific event but have twice taken part in the equivalent Sunday league xc race on the same course. It's a challenging course and would recommend it for someone looking for a pretty typical xc course...Good luck anyone doing it...

Agree McBood - it is a typical cross-country course - mud, streams, hills, mud, mud, more mud

plus a bit of a hike to the start

I'll get a lift to the start Nobby but then I'll be running home afterwards (about 2 miles) to warm down.

Hopefully there will not much snow to hide all that mud.

*** XMAS XC POSTPONED ***

Owing to the adverse weather conditions, the uncertainty as to whether the Leisure Centre that serves as Race HQ will be open and the treacherous underfoot conditions on the course we regretfully have to postpone tomorrow's (19/12) event. We will try to reschedule for early in the New Year - watch the web site for details.

It was a shame, although expected.

Marshalling would have been fun for you this year ITB if the race had been on ..............
