A great start to your spring marathon training
Wonder what weather we will have this year?
I wouldn't miss it either.
yeah, i fancy having a go at this one
If the wind is blowing straight in off the North Sea at about 25-30mph as it was this morning it should make for an "interesting" run!
Due to personal circumstances we are having to close entries on 24th November instead of 28th both online and postal. there will be on the day entries though. Any entries received after 24th in the post will need to be collected on the day but DON'T post any after 24th. We are hoping to be moving house that week so won't have broadband access etc etc etc.
Going anywhere nice JFDI?
Hopefully CB - downsizing but staying in Ramsgate - if the numpties at the bottom of the chain ever get themselves organised!!!!!!!
RIGHT EVERYONE OPERATION MOVE HOUSE TAKES PLACE 29 NOVEMBER!!!!
Anyone who is planning on posting an entry must post it this week to ensure it reaches us by 28 November - we do not have time to set up a redirection now. Also entries officially close on 24 November but we are anticipating there will be entries on the day.
CHeck out www.thanetroadrunners.org.uk for full details
On the day entries are available between 7.30 and 9.15 on Sunday. We anticipate in excess of 150 spaces so there should be no problems getting in! The most on the day entries we have had in the past has been 60 or so.
Hi all - provisional results are now up on the website ,,,
Once over the shock of the cold this was a great run and i wondered where the wind had got to.
Then on the turn i got my answer .... jeez it was bitter !!
Well done Thanet Roadrunners on a very enjoyable event.
The race photos from Sunday are now available on Jodi Hanagan’s website (http://www.jodihanaganphotography.com/p390641488) – please take the time to have a look and place an order through the website.
A fab race, brilliantly organised, great marshalls (the young girl with jelly babies certainly gets a thumbs up!), fab medal and goodie bag - congrats on your 30th year Thanet AC. I'll be back, but please can you turn off the wind machine next year
I have just looked at the photos. Who was that 95 year old man wearing my number crossing the finishing line?
Thanks for all the kind feedback peeps. Amended results will go up later on.
Did your number 26 swing round then Bill
(that's not a euphemism.....)
