Here we go again for March 2012! Morning start (time to be confirmed). What to people think?

Entries coming in steadily but plenty of places left. Come and see the delights of Epping Forest and our shiny new clubhouse! You know you want to!

Still plenty of places available - there again Epping Forest is quite large! 10:30 start so can spend the rest of the day savouring your achievement (or recovering as some would say)

when does it take place?

24 March - it should be in the RW magazine events bit or if you have a look on the website...

 http://www.orionharriers.org.uk/fif15.htm

Although we have a closing date on the form we are not at all strict about it - last entry is usually about ten minutes before the start!

Did this race last year... cracking event and well worth doing. Can't make it this year though.

On the details (which are linked to above) it says start time is 2.00 pm?

The cut-off puts me off somewhat, but the fact that it's the day before the Brentwood half is what really knocks it on the head for me.

Hi - can't spot the incorrect start time but it is definitely 10:30 morning start. Where is the other time?

At the top of the page, it says

Saturday, 20 March 2010
Orion 15
Chingford, London

If you click on the 'Orion 15' it takes you to an events listing, which I see on a second look is actually for the 2010 event!

I guess this is an old thread still running, with a link to the 2010 listing.  That could cause confusion (well, it confused me!).

Ah I see! Well I suppose the only solution is to start a new forum every year - I just carry on the forum each year. If you search for Orion 15 on the RW site it keeps the previous events and future event so hopefully people will understand - thanks for pointing it out but I must admit you are the only one who has spotted the possible confusion. If it was a problem I guess people would turn up on the wrong day anyway!. When I send out race information it makes it very clear when the start time is (and the date).

March 24th at 10:30 am......just in case

That's an extra half day to recover for Brentwood.

....still places....don't worry about deadline...just email me and we can sort things out (very muddy at the moment)

are there entries on the day this year?

ORB

gatters - yes!  We say there is a closing date but this is really only becasue there is only me to take entries on the day (sometimes I get some help) so it can be a bit frantic.  Also our results wizard likes to have as many names (and age categories) in advance so he can prepare the spreadsheets (or however he does it).

So if you can email something in advance then it helps but if not possible then come along on the day and we will get you a number.

Gonna be VERY muddy this year methings...

Looking forward to this - it will be my first Orion 15 and having read reviews etc it seems to have gained an almost legendary status over the years !

I have my number already - it's either 809 or 608 - don't know whether you can clarify ?

Many Thanks,

Myles.
