Competitors must stick to the marked out route and keep to the designated paths and public rights of way marked on their maps

this looks good - a couple queries...

is this a marked out route or is map reading involved??

and whats the compulsory kit for individual runners??

marked out and the kit is as follows: The compulsory kit list is: food, water, head torch, first aid kit and mobile phone

I'm trying to find out if there are spaces left, because I wanted to do it and got injured, didn't enter and now am fixed! Fingers crossed

You are going to be issued a map but the route is fully marked out with 3 drink stations and 3 checkpoints as well.
