Thunder Run 24

Hi all,

I'm really looking forward to this one.  My first foray into the world of off road racing.

To those who did last years inagural event, have you any advice, tips or do's and don'ts?
Anything from the camp site, catering, facilites and the actual course itself.

I bought my very first off road shoes the other week in preparation just in case the july weather isn't kind.
I've got the tent, sleeping bag and other bits and bobs.
The only thing lacking is advice and prior knowledge

I'd like to say i'm a solo entrant but i'm not. (1 of  10 - 2 teams)
The thought of running as far as possible in 24 hours doen't reaaly do it for me.

Can't help with your queries Mick but like you keen to see if anyone has any info cos I've entered this too (also as part of a 2-Man team). Looking forward to it now, although God knows why cos I reckon I'm going to have to run about 75-80 miles in 24 hours!

Let's hope the Massage folk are good!
