I'm popping up home on a visit next weekend (i'm a Lesmahagow boy ) to do the Tinto Hill race. I've only ever walked up Tinto before, but I checked out the event website for all the inside info. They say you need to carry or wear a cagoule and "trousers". Are running tights acceptable, and can you use one of those "cag-in-a-bag" type cagoules you can buy at Millets?
