I had a great race got 1h 32 due to struggling on the hill the 2nd time but it was a great race and I will be back next year

Well done Michael! I've been thinking I wouldn't do it again but I think I probably should. I have to bury that terrible time I did, once and for all!

I did a 4 mile race in Exeter this evening. Nice and flat it was and very scenic ...... but still felt like hard work!

My bruised toenails are now throbbing

Quick question - does anyone know how many people actually started the race? I know over 1,600 entered and 1,215 finished but I haven't seen the start number anywhere.

Well done Tinker; fantastic time IMHO and I'm relieved even snakes like you struggled on that last 'undulation'

kwilter: As if!

Richc:  Je ne sais pas

Yes great time Tinker - how was your journey back this year? Not as bad as last I hope.

Went onto swange after for a couple of days on the tuesday so came back thursday no problem when I got to sheffield the rain was lashing down

did a 10k at fleetwood today and we where running for a 4 year old girl who has sotos diesase

to number 42 I did the blackpool mararthon in 2005 and every runner was sturggleing as it was 28c

42 - Yes, I reckon Plymouth is quite tough.  Torbay, despite my performance, has to be easier?

Great pics Small, well found. That's me being cheeky on the first picture with my arms in the air just prior to passing under the bridge. I remember thinking at the time what must the guy taking the photo think of me..

The things you do to occupy your mind!!

20 minutes: I am willing to have my mind changed; maybe my preperation for Torbay wasnt right; certainly I didnt feel quite 'right' as I did for Plymouth; Mrs42 wasnt at Torbay either and I wasnt running with my trainign partner as I did for Plymouth. As I say, I am willing to consider thinking about changing my mind.

The only way to decide is to race them both next year.  I certainly had a good race at Plymouth & a poor one at Torbay - must do better next year.

What did they use at the cattle grids in the Festival 4?

There were boards on the cattle grids 20 mins.
