Tough Guy in a wetsuit?

Is running the Tough Guy in a wetsuit a good way to stay warm or a duff idea?

Blimey. Just thought I'd have a look to see if anyone had replied to my thread...

I think I take from all this that wearing a wetsuit is a naff idea (with or without wee).

Just hope Tough Guy is as entertaining as you lot!

PS I do exist....

PPS Can someone start a thread "Pics of Smithy", could be even more entertaining.. !

PG  I did wonder what you would think when you came back !!!

If you can afford a wettie to get ripped to shreds around Tough Guy then feel free and then come back and tell us about it !

Sorry you had to witness the nastier side of the forum on this one, in the main we are a good bunch really

PG - M...eldy is right there, but watch out if she ever asks if you can swim or ride a bike!!! That's when she comes into her own (I take it that if you have a wetsuit that you can swim)

Good luck with TG

Meldy, I am really torn about what to do (my wetsuit as yet is not..) and all this gibberish has not helped. Seems like a wetsuit is missing the point and will be a focal point for abuse. All over goose fat and bikini it is, then...

Lady Sue, thanks for the tip, I will avoid all mention of swimming or biking. Wouldn't want to send Meldy off on one.

There are pictures on the website of people with and without wetsuits. Just do what you feel comfortable with, nevermind other people.

I would go for the latter and seriously forget the wettie

If you use the good old search function for Tough Guy you will find a few threads where clothing has been discussed but as I think was mentioned somewhere in the melee a good base layer top and bottom will help and avoid anything that will hold water and make you colder

I guess if they're not in the water all the time, this makes sense.

I have told you, the person who goes to socials and races is not the real me. I am far too shy so I send my cousin instead.
