Has anyone else yet to decide what to wear? Oh god, I just want some inspiration!  Looking forward to seeing you all on the slopes for some fun slippin' and slidin'

Looking forward to some wet and muddy fun. After batman last year it's ghostbusters this time including photon gun and backpack

Mad Hatter for me.

Let's face it, we all must be as mad as a hatter to do this, so seems appropriate

I am unable to do Knacker Cracker 2013 due to injury...

I was going as a tea lady, Caroline, my wife, still is...

If you fancy having a go let me know and you can 'buy' the entry with the money going to the race charity...

I have OK'd this with Dr Robert race director...

If you're in Romford, Ilford, Dagenham area let me know & I'll give you a lift...

Alistair - Lady Penelope?

Wow - given today's weather I'm not sure if I shouldn't come equipped with an arc as well. Those slopes are going to be adventurous. All makes the run more fun

The ship is ready. Just hope the wind always blows uphill.

Lemmy-Didn't think of that! No Virgil.

Had contemplated dressing up as a woman- but bottled it. I remeber last year over hereing a lady runner sayong that she thorught that the onlhy reason men were running was so that they could get dressed in drag- made me smile!!!

May need some flippers rather than trainers!

I met a National Trust volunteer ranger while out laying out the course yesterday afternoon: "It's the muddiest I've seen Box Hill for 30 years," says he.

Good luck everyone!

Slip sliding away
Slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away.......

Huge thank you to Dr Rob, his family and all the volunteers/ marshals for another awesome Knacker Cracker. The only way to start the new year.

+1 for what Peter says......

This morning was fantabulous, and the combination of glorious sunshine, lovely scenery, loads of mud, some cracking costumes, and a bunch of happy runners make for a great event. This is then topped of by yummy hot soup, cheese and pickle rolls, and carrots at the finish

Massive thanks to Dr Rob, his family, and the great marshalls. Special mention goes to Wee Willy Winky at the top of the steps, and his kind words of encouragement

" get a move on... this is a running race, not a walking race.... "

Peter, you're welcome.

That was a lot of fun - I don't know about you guys, but I enjoyed it! Well done to all finishers... it was amazingly fast, given the conditions!
