It's new years day we could do a mini medoc if you want? There is a netto in kettering, cheap wine and some pringles?

Lol Cake, love that idea

I've got some nutter type club mates that do Beachy each year with a camelbak of wine!

yeah but better than just vegging out all day doing nothing

True

Can't decide whether to hang round after the run or go straight back and attempt the Dartford Crossing, which does feel like sitting around doing nuffing when busy!!!

Lloyd, would you happen to know if any of the park is open NYD?  I'd guess the rides aren't of course, but do remember it had slides/swings etc.  Change of plan means Mini C will be coming to watch mummy and likes slides!

just looked on their website and says its open NYD
18/11/2010 at 11:33
but not the rides

Ta Angie, what I thought but their website wasn't playing for me earlier!  Cool, wrap him up warm and he can have some fun!

Can you give me some advice guys? I am thinking of entering this, but i;ve been out injured for months and only starting to get back running regularly over the last few weeks.

I've done a 10miler so should be ok to get round, but it wont be quick and i'm a bit worried i'll be last, i dont mind being near the back but dont want to be miles back from everyone else.

I would think i'll be at around the 11min mile pace, so thats going to be 2h15 to 2h30ish. Will i make a fool of myself or am i worrying needlessly??

I've done 2 8's so far, m7 10 mile race tomorrow been cancelled due to snow but we've still got 4 weeks till this so you should be fine

Got my number today, I'm 1844
