Hi, I've run the Reading Half Marathon about 6 years in a row now, to the point where im chopping 5 mins off my time each year. Well this year I ran 1.35 but rather than wait till next year to try to go sub-1.30, im running the windsor half marathon in sept.
So my question is, has anyone run both of them, and how do they compare? Am I being unrealistic in trying to run windsor faster than reading? I know it obviously wont have the crowds. Is aiming for a similar time to my PB more realistic or should I just treat it as some hard training based on it being a tough course?
