The last flyover caught me out. I went over the one I thought was last telling myself it's all flat till the finish.

Long shot here, but I think I left my black sweatshop bum bag in the female changing tent. It has my ipod in it.  I've had the bum bag since '99 and it's the best.  I am gutted.  Anyway, if anyone knows anything, please let me know.  I have contacted the organisers. Not holding out much hope.

the email they just sent out said they had a couple of bits of kit left in the kit tent...and asked for an email if anything else has been lost.

Fingers crossed, they found your bits.

Good on them for doing that. Pity they no longer list on RW though, because we can't do feedback.

yep, bit of a shame.

Shame they can't just list the race for infos sake, and thus have the ability to sprint a thread and ratings pages.

I expect the race sees no advantage as they sell out so comfortably.

Bearing in mind 3,000 entered, and only just over 2,000 actually finished, they could probably risk selling even more places!

Once again they stuck the tent in the middle of a field that churns up every time it rains though, they really have to learn from that one, and having people enter the funnel from the front, I started just behind 1:10 and was thumping past people for a mile still that had no real chance of anything under 1:30.

Check this link

Spot the odd guy out on the start line!!

The chap did 1hr 52, so lining up on a very narrow start line with sub 1hr 08 men might not have been the best.

Regarding the tent, maybe they could put it on the tennis courts...that'd at least guarantee the footing doesn't get ridiculous

Ah would have been perfect conditions today!  C'est la vie..
