Hi guys,

Has anyone do this race before and/ or know if its chipped timing? The entry forum says "computerised results" but I'm not sure this is the same thing.

It would surprise me if they use chipped timing. It isn't a big race and they might have a maximun of 500 entries. So it is probably not cost effective for the club.

Your timing would still be spot on so dont worry .

Its a good race and you will be credited with an accurate time .

I'd like to have a go at this one as I've heard it is a flat course - is this the one where they give out a loaf of bread at the end

? Not that I can't buy bread where I live.

Yes it is, Bara Brith sometimes. It's a fast course.

Cheers guys, looks like I'll be doing this, Helsby and Liverpool this spring. I'll have to ask somebody to write me a cheque for the entrance fee, I havn't owned a chequebook in years.
