I have found a couple of possibles.

Villa Saint Exupéry which sounds pretty good with a good selection of rooms but is on the outskirts of town and Hostel Paradis which appears to be pretty close to the Ironman start and again a good selection of room sizes.

Both seem to have reasonable rates and availabilty for the moment.

The Youth hostel also won't allow bikes.

I have phoned the hostel paradis/hotel paradis they only have 24 beds and will not accept a group booking!!!!

I think we will have problems with this unless we go for a larger hotel. They are all shit scared that a group for 40 people do not turn up and they loose the revenue

Why not just choose a hotel and book individually?

That's whhat I'm looking to do anyway...already booked the flights...

All we need is something handy for the start/finish area, thats not too flash. Must be a few that fit the bill ?

Cant see that we'll get one that suits everyone, but if its round the same vicinity - it won't be too bad.

I agree with RB....

I would suggest the Hotel Ibis.. the rooms are all twins with ensuite, clean, there is a pool.

Hotel is near the central railway station so just a bus from the airport.... and not too far from the start/finish line

Do not stay at the Airport you are a long way from the start for race morning!!! it is at the wrong end of the Promenade des Anglais
