Thanks for the kind words Bouncing Barlist, JJ, Grrr, and iron cougie. I'm afraid that there is absolutely no chance of me doing another IM. I just don't want to do all that training again. (though something needs to stop my record breaking wieght gain: 10 lbs and counting). I'm dead happy with the one I did, had a great time and you all added to the occasion for me.

Good luck to the IM Germany outing. Next year I'll have a serious assault at going fast at some shorter stuff, once I've shifted my new friend the spare tyre! Next stop Helvellyn triathlon in September. Anyone else?

that's pretty cool that she can TT at such a high level as well as win IM's. I doubt there's that many people who can do both.

i heard sean kelly and david harman saying during the final vuelta TT how some of the guys had a more triathlon pose on the bike. how does a triathlon TT pose differ from a roadie's TT pose? and why?
