Ooops wrong thread, ignore the last post..

I meant to submit the following to this thread if anybody is still looking in and has had the same problem..

My Garmin Forerunner 301 is starting to suffer after two years of near faultless service. Turned it on yesterday and it displayed "low battery", plugged in charger and it said "battery charging complete". Tried to use it and it wasn't recording distance despite supposedly picking up satellites - weird. Read on garmin site that this may be a back-to-base fix. However, I left it on charge all night, picked up signal and drove into work with it on and it recorded distance just fine. It still says low battery when I turn it on and battery indicator is empty but it is working.

Any clues? Can't find a similar problem on any other thread (I've tried the reset) on garmins. I'll check through this one when I have a spare hour.

Cheers

Does anybody know where I can get a new cradle for my Forerunner 201. My one has stopped connecting via the serial cable. I have been in touch with Garmin but they can/will not supply a new cradle as the device is out of warranty. I have tried my friends 201 cradle and it worked fine on my PC with my cables and device.

TIA

Clive

Actually - while we're on the 'does anyone know where...' does anyone know where I can get the quick release bike to wrist kit in the u.k?

DD - Thanks for the link.

I decided to upgrade the whole toy to a 205 as the 201 gave up the ghost and locked up at 5k while I was running the Longleat 10k on Sunday.
