 "Another victory for the Flying Clydesdales"
aye - I won my group..........over 50/over 220lb........  although one guy went past me on the bike who made me look small - he was humungous!! never saw him on the run though so suspected he DNF'd it's a great shame that the Clydesdale thing has more or less died a death from an organisation viewpoint as it did give us fat uns a way of ranking ourselves against similar size folks rather than against the skinny whippets..... | ||||

nah - Clydesdales don't get any preferential treatment
the US Clydesdale setup used to organise a separate World Champs (oly distance) in Florida but as I said, the whole thing seems to have died a death although some events in the US still have clydesdale classes - Chicago 09 for instance http://www.chicagotriathlon.com/?q=node/10 | ||||

 I assume I am the old guy who came out of retirement. How am I? The doctor tells me the drugs should start to help some time soon. I hope so I keep having recurring nightmares of some woman sprinting ahead of me shouting "Fandabidozee". Scott Ragsdale wrote (see) i thought clydesdale was a kind of horse. | ||||

Not so far - recurring injuries have put paid to my plans for IMCH but a future excursion has not been ruled out.

 Re the jacket - I actually got one that said "second place", as he splits it between men's and women's events. So being beaten by a girl was actually good news!
