Why wouldn't you? I'd feel morally obliged to buy a pair of shoes if I used the services of a specialist shop in order to make the initial assessment, but after that you're merely a well informed consumer. Shops obviously have higher overheads than online stores so prices are always going to be generally higher, but all the more reason to get the value-added services such as gait analysis, or just trying on, only when you need them.
