2xu compression tights chaffing

As it was getting colder I bought a pair of these. At first on my week night runs - 6 to 8 miles - they were fine. However when I did my long run last Saturday of 17.5 miles I experienced 'chaffing' down below.

Is there anyway to avoid the chaffing on long runs?

wore my 2xus for 19miles on sunday..all was fine...er , you could try vaseline? perhaps it hapened because ot was cold/windyweather and not because of the brand?

CHAFING.

Only one 'f' in chafing.

Bodyglide is the solution.

Surrey Runner - I have experienced similar problems...

My preferred solution is to wear a pair of tight fitting briefs / pants / slips / budgie smugglers (<* circle as appropriate for your preferred choice of noun*>) underneath my tights

Alternatively, if you are the type of bloke that likes rubbing warm slippery grease over your "loose bits" then Vaseline can be an enjoyable start to the run

Doubt its down to the make of the tights, loads of runners get it the longer distance they run.

I fidn it depends on where they put the seams.

Decent kit has a special panel without seams around the sensitive areas.

Cheap, or badly designed stuff has seams that turn into cheesewire after a certain mileage and rub up the boys till they look like peeled plum tomatoes.

The only solution is budge smugglers or a pair of properly designed compression shorts beneath

2XUs are pretty much seam free i find...although i do seem to have pale 'x' marks down my thighs or on any  tanned bits whn i take em off

Chuck some vaseline on the chaps and away you go.
