Is that February rather than March ?

Michelle, would you mind contacting me about this?

My wife and I both run and have used Aldi gear. My wife bought the running shoes and they were disposed of quickly, but the running tops etc are still going strong.
My favourite is the Isotonic drinks x6 for £1.50.

I think Michelle works for their PR company - so it will be the 2nd March.

..I wondered that!

nice to see they're on the ball and know where to tell people who will be most interested.

Michelle - will you have more of the socks?? I bought the first lot and haven't seen them for sale since (about 12 months ago).

Strange...

Normally if people post advertising stuff we jump down on them and get the thread cazzed. But Aldi gear...well it's almost as if they're doing US a favour so it's ok....

TC - what is cazzed? I seen it referenced a few times but what does it refer to?
27/01/2006 at 10:11
..your thread is removed due to unsavoury content..

Cool. What is classed as unsavoury? I've seen some of Minky's threads that are abit close to the knuckle.

I think there is so much traffic on the forum that someone has to report it to the moderator before it will be Cazzed (please note the capital C).

The reason it's called this is that the forumite Caz was the first to have a thread removed for being in bad taste. I suspect that it was mild compared to some of the stuff that has been posted since though! :o)

Oh and if you do work for Aldi, Michelle, can you ask your bosses to open a store in Inverness.

It only needs to do the running kit, so you won't need a big shop......... ;o)

Linking to other forums is also frowned upon :-S

Bit obvious that though isn't it ? If I ran a forum - I wouldn't be over the moon about other forums advertising on it ?
27/01/2006 at 10:41
TC I suppose one of us would've told everyone as soon as we saw any Aldi gear coming up.....
27/01/2006 at 10:42
I think the crucial difference is that Aldi are not here promoting themselves. A lot of us recognise them as offering genuinely great value for decent quality running gear, and we want to spread the word.

Has anyone got any pictures of the Aldi range?
