Alternatives to Storm Pegasus ?

Love the fit of Pegs...especially as I wear orthotics, the width and toe box room is great

BUT the grip on mud from Storm Pegs is so bad - I have huge probs running in them down hills - or even walking - they clog up so bad

As they are now on the verge of disintegrating - any suggestions please for a slightly more aggressive soled alternative ?

I like the fit of both Nike and Saucony, they seem very similar. The trigon is a close match and super comfy

addidas swop or mudrocs - I only wear nike on the road but the off-road shoes are just not good enough

No, you have to have EU standard feet now...some bureaucrat in Brussells says so
