I've just returned from a foraging hunter-gatherer expedition with a big mens bum/belly covering wicking T-shirt for the Asda price (pats arse pocket) of just £12!

They have mens T's in 3 styles, 2 vests, but also wicking brief or trunk!

They're not too offensive on the eye, although it has to be said I'm not bothered about fashion when running as any ensemble is tooped off by a bright red sweaty beetroot snot head!

Didn't see any wicky stuff in girls section, but I prefer to hang out in mens' underwear ;)

Helen
Is the t shirt a REAL wicking one?

Can we get Homer to give the undies a test run?

Tee hee hee !

This needs to be investigated.

Benz, according to the label it's a proper technical fabric wicking moisture away from the skin blah blah blah. It feels like a wicky one (you know, that wierd slippy fabric) but haven't road tested it yet.

The rest of you are just dirty minded!

Sorry, I misread you.

Ah,who am I kidding Steady? There's far too much evidence against me in Gear alone. As for my contribution to 'Ladies, advice please' on URWFRC i think it's enough for a conviction as filthiest forumite.

Anyone else been to Asda

Newcomer to Forum! Q: the squeezy Lucozade drinks (a la Silverstone) - where can I pick these up? Have got powder to make up own drinks, but the squeezy do-das are good for quick fix...just can't find them anywhere. Can anyone help?

....light blue far too Coventry City for my liking .... your intimacy with these particular garments worry me somewhat!

Hi Caro - welcome! Best thing to do would be to start a new thread about this, so that we can pile in and suggest things. Sensible things, of course. Just create a new thread by going to the front page of Gear.

well .... most splendiferous wicking Asda sports trunks! Good sweaty run tonight and nice dry Craeg! A snip (ouch! That reminds me of something else!) at £6! Highly to be recommended ... didn't see wicking T-shirts at my branch of Asda bit the vests looked like the biz!

ooooh - can't wait to get to Asda on Friday . . . .
12/03/2003 at 08:39
richk, are you mental? Asda on a Friday is choc full of muppets gormlessly wandering from aisle to aisle at the speed of snails with their mouths hanging open.

I go on Monday nights me. Less people and more chance of not being caught furtively checking out the gussets on mens' wicky shorts!

Craeglea, I'm so glad your knackers were sweat free! A triumph for roll-back prices eh!
