Does anyone have these and how do they find them? I had some three years ago and they gave me blisters around the heel sides. Recommended to wear them for over pronating at gait analysis last week, just checked the cost ouch. Are they that good, they felt good when I tried them on??

It's Kayano msc - just google it - there's loads on line and it is one of Asics flagship running shoes.  Personally I don't rate them.  I wear Asics 2160's and don't think the extra you pay for the Kayano is worth it, as to me it is really just a very similar shoe yet the Kayano is generally £20 - £30 dearer.  I think the level of support in both shoes is the same - they are a mild support shoe.  I couldn't say if either would suit you (obviously!) but I have tried both, and prefer the 2160 and have worn the 21*0 ascis range for years with no problems.

From what I hear the new version (Kayano 18) has eliminated that heel blister issue with an external heel counter.

Excuse my spelling.....kayano, will try the 2160 on thanks for the advice appreciate it. Profits are required by shops these days so I guess they want to sell you the top shoe. Saucony progrid guides have been my last three pairs and it's amazing how every pair is slightly different unless it's my strange feet. I tend to batter a pair and not want to chuck them being tight.

I have had kayano from the 14's.

Love them, never had heel blisters in any of them. Worth every penny to me.  Just having orthotics made though so prob will have to change once they are ready to something more neutral although I have had off the shelf orthotics in kayanos for the past 2 years.

I may need to try lacing another way up as I liked the feel of them, just had a clear out of all my old trainers three pairs going to the recycling!! My oh and daughter gone to London today so if any money left may need a shoe trying session.
There was a thread on lacing anyone got a link? Thanks in advance. Off for a search.

I use both the Kaynao's and the GT21*0 range and think they are both good trainers, but due to the extra money, like Tigerlilly, I might in future just use the GT's. I guess it will depend if I can find anywhere knocking out the Kayano's at discount.

If you're size 6, 7, or 8 and willing to risk the Kayano 16, Sportsdirect has them cheap now...

Absolutely love the Kayano - 3 years and still going strong although I get the feeling if I'd have bought the 21*0 from the other comments on here I may well be saying the same thing....

£66 or so in John Lewis' sale at the mo. Was tempted to pick up a spare pair for when my current 17s desintegrate.
