should they differe from road trainers?
No trail shoes required obviously but any decent pair will be OK for the treadmill
I use a lighter shoe on the treadmill, Nike Free. Don't think you need as much cushioning on a soft predictable surface. Also saves having the mud from your road shoes splattering all over the floor behind the treadmill.
